Projectabe Terms of Use

These terms apply when you browse Projectabe, create an account, submit or manage a project, use community features, or purchase a paid feature. Please read them alongside the Privacy Policy.

1. About Projectabe

Projectabe is a project discovery platform where creators can list projects and visitors can explore listings, follow projects or creators, vote, comment, and share links. A listing on Projectabe is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by Projectabe.

2. Accounts and account security

Provide accurate information when registering and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Keep your password confidential and contact the site operator promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. Do not impersonate another person or create accounts to evade moderation or manipulate site activity.

3. Project submissions and ownership

Only submit a project that you own, operate, represent, or have permission to list. Provide accurate project descriptions, categories, tags, images, links and other requested information. You must have permission to use any logos, screenshots, text or other material you upload.

Projectabe may ask you to verify your connection to a project, for example through a link on the project website or a DNS record. Do not submit verification details you are not authorised to control. Verification or publication does not mean Projectabe has independently audited the project.

4. Acceptable use and community behaviour

Do not use Projectabe to submit, link to, or distribute content that:

• is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing or abusive;
• contains malware, phishing, credential theft or other harmful activity;
• infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• is spam, impersonation, fake engagement or an attempt to manipulate votes, follows, comments, rankings or analytics;
• attempts to bypass security, access accounts or data without permission, or disrupt the service.

Use comments, replies, reports, votes and follows for their intended purpose. Do not post private or confidential information about others. You must not scrape, overload, probe or interfere with Projectabe or its users except where expressly permitted by law or by the operator.

5. Content you submit

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. You give Projectabe permission to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and promote the service, including displaying public listings, creator profiles, project updates and shared links. This permission is non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership to Projectabe.

You are responsible for the content you submit and must remove or correct it when you no longer have the right to publish it. Content may remain in backups, moderation records or other retained records where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or dispute handling, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. Public listings, votes and discovery

Approved public projects and related creator or community content may be visible to visitors and search engines. Projectabe may organise, rank, recommend or display listings using site features and activity signals. Rankings, views, votes and recommendations are not guarantees of quality, safety, popularity or commercial success. Do not attempt to manipulate them.

7. Moderation and enforcement

Projectabe may review, delay, approve, reject, restrict, suspend or remove a project, comment, account or other content when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, respond to reports, protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service. We may limit features or suspend accounts involved in abuse, fraud, security risks or repeated violations. Where appropriate, we may provide a reason and information about any available review process.

You can report content through available reporting features. A report does not guarantee removal; Projectabe will assess it in light of the circumstances and applicable requirements.

8. Featured promotion and Premium membership

Projectabe may offer paid options such as Featured project promotion or Premium membership. The price, duration, included features and payment terms shown during checkout apply to the purchase. Check these details before paying. Paid promotion may give a listing additional visibility, but does not guarantee views, votes, followers, sales, downloads or any other result, and it does not exempt a project from moderation or these terms.

Payments are processed through the payment provider shown at checkout. Do not send card details directly to Projectabe. Access to a paid feature may be withheld or removed if a payment fails, is reversed or is refunded, or if the associated listing or account is removed in accordance with these terms.

Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the purchase terms and applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights relating to digital content or services. If you have a payment question, contact the site operator with your order details; do not send full payment card numbers or security codes.

9. Third-party websites and services

Project listings can link to websites and services operated by others. Projectabe does not control those third parties and cannot guarantee their content, security, availability, privacy practices or claims. Check external sites carefully before signing up, downloading software, making payments or sharing personal information. Any transaction with a third party is between you and that third party.

10. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of Projectabe for maintenance, security, operational or product reasons. We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent availability of any listing, statistic or feature.

11. Liability and statutory rights

Projectabe is provided without a promise that every listing, external link, statistic or user-submitted claim is accurate, safe or suitable for your needs. To the extent permitted by law, Projectabe is not responsible for losses caused by third-party websites, user-submitted content, or interruptions beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights where doing so would be unlawful.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as Projectabe develops or legal requirements change. The updated version and its revision date will be published on this page. Where required, we will give notice or seek agreement to material changes. Your continued use of Projectabe after updated terms take effect is subject to those terms where legally permitted.
